Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- takes food and beverages orders efficiently following established service steps
- delivers food promptly and professionally maintaining food handling and sanitation standards
- follows up periodically to assist with additional guest needs
- demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
- advises guests on appropriate food and drink combinations
- communicates with back-of-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery
- exhibits exceptional communication skills and flexibility when interacting with guests and staff
- collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
- promotes a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
- maintains confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- addresses complaints promptly and escalates to supervisor as needed
- ensures dining room is properly set up before and after service
- operates various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, and beverage machines
- collaborates with other departments during special events
- performs other duties as assigned
