Job Duties

  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
  • advise guests on appropriate food and drink combinations and accommodate reasonable requests and preferences
  • communicate effectively with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and special request accommodations
  • maintain a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
  • handle cash transactions securely and follow proper procedures
  • promptly address guest complaints or issues and relay information to supervisors
  • set up and clean the dining area before and after service periods
  • operate various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, and others
  • collaborate with staff from other departments during special events and functions
  • perform other duties as assigned
