The role available is for a part-time Waiter/Waitress at The Davis Community located in Wilmington, NC. This position entails delivering superior dining service to guests by taking food and beverage orders and ensuring timely and professional delivery of meals. Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling standards
  • follow up with guests to assist with additional needs or requests
  • demonstrate thorough knowledge of menu items and ingredients advising guests appropriately
  • communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accuracy of orders
  • handle cash transactions following proper procedures
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining area
  • address guest complaints and relay issues to supervisor
  • set up dining room before and after service
  • operate equipment such as coffee machines and iced tea machines
  • assist other departments during special events
  • perform other duties as assigned
