The role of a part-time Waiter/Waitress stationed at the Senate Dining Room in Washington, District of Columbia, is essential in delivering an exceptional dining experience to guests. The position requires prior fine dining experience and is designed for individuals who excel in customer interaction, efficiency in service, and maintaining the highest standards of food handling and presentation. This position offers a fixed pay rate of $24.00 per hour and a flexible part-time schedule that may vary daily, generally from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm.

As a Waiter/Waitress, candidates will be responsible for taking and delivering food and beverage orders, guiding guests through menu offerings with detailed knowledge of dishes and ingredients, and ensuring guest satisfaction through attentive and courteous service. The role involves coordinating with kitchen and service staff to accommodate special requests and dietary needs, managing order accuracy, and upholding the cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
