Job Requirements

  • Previous serving experience preferred
  • ability to perform job duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation
  • willingness to work flexible on-call shifts including varied days and hours
  • legal authorization to work in the United States
  • responsible and reliable with a positive attitude
  • physical ability to stand and carry items for extended periods
  • adherence to safety and sanitation protocols

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous serving experience preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • flexibility to work on-call schedule

  • ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • takes food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • delivers food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follows up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
  • demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
  • advises guests on appropriate food and drink combinations when requested
  • accommodates reasonable requests and notes guest preferences
  • communicates directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and special accommodations
  • exhibits exceptional communication skills and maintains patience when interacting with guests and staff
  • collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
  • promotes a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
  • maintains confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
  • promptly addresses complaints or issues and relays to supervisor
  • ensures dining room is properly set up prior to and after service periods
  • operates equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
  • works collaboratively with other departments during special events and functions
  • performs other assigned duties
