Unidine is currently hiring for the position of Waiter/Waitress at their Lambeth House location in New Orleans, LA. This opportunity offers both full-time and part-time schedules with the flexibility to work varying days and hours, including weekends. Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
  • advise guests on appropriate food and drink combinations
  • accommodate reasonable guest requests and note preferences
  • demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets and allergens as needed
  • communicate directly with back-of-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and accommodation of special requests
  • exhibit exceptional communication skills and ability to work well with others
  • remain flexible and patient when interacting with guests and staff
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
  • maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
  • address complaints or issues promptly and relay relevant information to supervisor
  • ensure proper dining room setup before and after service periods
  • operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
  • collaborate with staff from other departments during special events
  • perform other duties as assigned
