Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of restaurant serving experience preferred
  • Availability to work full-time or part-time with flexibility in scheduling
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members
  • Must comply with company policies including drug-free workplace requirements

Job Qualifications

  • One year of prior restaurant serving experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with team members
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Understanding of dietary restrictions and allergens is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to remain flexible under pressure
  • Basic cash-handling skills

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • Takes food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • Delivers food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • Demonstrates knowledge of menu items and ingredients and advises guests on food and drink combinations
  • Communicates with back-of-the-house staff to ensure orders are correct and special requests are accommodated
  • Collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests and addresses complaints promptly
  • Operates various equipment including fire extinguishers, phones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
  • Works with staff of other departments during special events and performs other duties as assigned
