Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior serving experience preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods
- reliable transportation to work location
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to follow health and safety guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Prior serving experience preferred
- ability to work full time or part time schedules including rotating weekends
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to maintain confidentiality of personal and medical information
- familiarity with specialized diets and allergens is a plus
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically with guests to assist with additional needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on appropriate combinations
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and accommodation of special requests
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
