Morrison Living is hiring immediately for both full-time and part-time Waiter/Waitress positions at this vibrant senior living community. Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follow up periodically to assist with any additional needs or requests
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests when requested
  • communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and special requests
  • exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain a positive interaction with guests and staff
  • collect tickets and follow cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe and neat environment for guests
  • maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
  • promptly address complaints or issues and relay relevant information to supervisor
  • ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service periods
  • operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea and soda machines, soup wells and coffee machines
  • collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
  • perform other duties as assigned
