The role available is that of a full-time Waiter/Waitress based at the Torrey Heights location in San Diego, CA. This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $19.00 to $21.00 and operates on a Monday through Friday schedule, from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with more details provided during the interview process. The role is integral in delivering exceptional dining experiences, requiring a dynamic individual who can efficiently take food and beverage orders while offering warm, attentive guest service. Job Requirements
- One year of serving experience is required
- Ability to work full time Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- takes food and beverage orders efficiently, following established service steps
- Deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
- Follow up periodically to assist with additional needs or requests
- Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on food and drink combinations
- Accommodate reasonable requests and note guest preferences including knowledge of specialized diets and allergens
- Communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correctness of orders
- Exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain good relationships with guests and staff
- Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- Maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical guest information
- Promptly address complaints or issues and relay them to the supervisor
- Ensure proper dining room setup before and after service and keep area clean
- Operate various equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- Work with other department staff during special events and functions
- Perform other duties as assigned
