Job Requirements
- Prior waiter/waitress experience required
- ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the role satisfactorily
- ability to work full time with shifts from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm and 11:00 am to 7:30 pm
- willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures
- ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information
- compliance with any required background screening
- ability to handle cash responsibly
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications

- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- understanding of menu items and ingredients
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- capability to work flexible hours including varying shifts
- strong customer service skills
- ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
- basic knowledge of specialized diets and allergen management
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverages orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on appropriate combinations of food and drinks
- accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences
- demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets and allergens as needed
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and accommodation of special requests
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain good relationships with guests and staff
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe and neat environment for guests
- maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- promptly address complaints or issues and relay information to supervisor
- ensure dining room is properly set up prior to and after the service period
- keep area clean and meet sanitation standards
- operate a variety of equipment including fire extinguishers and beverage machines
- work with staff of other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
