The Waiter/Waitress role is a vital position within the Food & Beverage team, focused on delivering exceptional quality and service aligned with Four Seasons’ standards of excellence. This role supports Servers in offering an expertly served poolside dining experience defined by professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail. Responsibilities include delivering food from the kitchen promptly and accurately, providing guests with detailed insights into flavor profiles, textures, special cooking methods, and unique ingredients to enhance their appreciation of the culinary offerings. The role also involves ensuring that tables are properly set with condiments, utensils, linens, glassware, and silverware to optimize the dining experience.
Moreover, the Waiter/Waitress partners closely with the expeditor to ensure order correctness, supports in maintaining the cleanliness and arrangement of dining spaces, and anticipates guests’ needs to promptly address any concerns. This position requires the physical ability to work both indoor and outdoor areas, adapting to varying weather conditions such as sun, wind, and rain, while maintaining high standards of service in a fast-paced and demanding environment. Effective verbal communication skills are essential for delivering engaging, informative messaging to guests, and the role demands strong multitasking abilities, problem-solving skills, and the capability to handle guest requests professionally.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in food service or related sectors, with preference given to those who have worked in luxury hospitality settings. Knowledge of English at a fluent level—including reading, writing, and speaking—is vital to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
