The role at Constance Le Chaland involves various responsibilities aimed at maintaining high standards of service in the restaurant and dining areas. The position requires the individual to ensure a clean and proper mise en place, handle silverware for polishing, and professionally carry food and beverages from the kitchen or bar to the service area. Serving guests according to set standards, collecting soiled dishes, assisting the Chef de Rang, maintaining cleanliness in all outlet areas, and setting up displays or buffet counters are key tasks associated with this role. Job Requirements
- Middle or secondary education
- Minimum 1 year experience in hotel industry in a similar position
- Ability to multi-task
- Good team spirit
- Effective communication skills
- Fluency in English
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and follow procedures
Job Qualifications
- Middle or secondary education
- Additional training or certificates in relevant field is a plus
- Minimum 1 year experience in hotel industry in a similar position including training
- Proven experience in top luxury resorts is a plus

- Hands-on experience with cash register and ordering information system
- Fluency in English or another language, written and verbal communication
- Knowledge of a second language is a plus
Job Duties
- Responsible for a clean and proper mise en place
- Send the silverware for polishing to the stewarding department as assigned by superiors
- Carry food and beverages from kitchen or bar to service area professionally
- Serve guests according to set standard and procedures
- Collect soiled dishes from the tables and service stations and dispatch to dish washing area
- Assist Chef de Rang in their tasks
- Maintain cleanliness in the outlet, service station and back area
- Set up display or buffet counter with plates and cutleries for different services
- Complete mise en place before the service starts
- Set up tables and serve meals as assigned
- Pick up requisition from storeroom as assigned
- Assist hostess to seat guests
- Know the menu by heart including chef's specials, buffet items and beverage list
- Answer guests queries and refer complaints or suggestions to Outlet Manager or assistants
- Never go from restaurant to kitchen with an empty tray and vice versa
- Perform other duties as assigned by superiors
