We are currently seeking a skilled and personable waiter/waitress to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who possess remarkable multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. As a waiter/waitress at Kashi Indian Restaurant, you will be at the forefront of the guest experience, responsible for greeting and seating guests, assisting them with menu choices, taking and delivering orders efficiently, and ensuring that our patrons feel valued and well-cared-for throughout their visit. Our team members are expected to carry trays, serve food and beverages, process payments accurately, and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of dining areas.

This employment opportunity offers both full-time and part-time positions, with a flexible schedule tailored to accommodate various shifts, including weekends and holidays. The job requires a high school diploma at minimum, and a preference for candidates holding a bachelor's degree. To succeed in this dynamic role, candidates must bring prior experience—ideally at least two years—as a waiter or waitress, demonstrating the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, collaborate seamlessly with kitchen and front-of-house staff, and handle monetary transactions responsibly.

Job Requirements

  • Must have prior 2 year experience as a waiter waitress

Job Duties

  • Greeting seating and escorting guests
  • providing menu recommendations and additional information
  • upselling additional products when appropriate
  • checking ids to prevent minors from ordering alcoholic beverages
  • taking orders using software order slips or by memorization
  • communicating order details to the kitchen staff
  • delivering food and beverages in a timely fashion
  • delivering checks and collecting bill payments
  • cleaning and maintaining the appearance of tables and tableware
  • providing exceptional customer experience
