Job Requirements
- Previous food service experience required
- Ability to work an on-call schedule with varying days and hours
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Capacity to handle cash transactions accurately
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to customer needs and special dietary requests
- Must be able to perform physical job duties including standing and walking for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- Previous food service experience
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours with an on-call schedule
- Understanding of menu items and dietary restrictions
- Ability to operate relevant dining equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- Take food and beverage orders efficiently, following established steps of service
- Deliver food promptly and professionally, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
- Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items, ingredients, and specialized diets/allergens
- Communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and accommodate special requests
- Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment in the dining area
