The part-time seasonal Waiter/Waitress position at Funko Field is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals who enjoy working in dynamic environments that combine food service with entertainment and sports events. This seasonal, event-based role runs from April through September and involves delivering and serving food at scheduled functions under the supervision of a catering captain or operations manager. Employees in this role play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth execution of events by setting up service areas, serving guests with professionalism and courtesy, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Successful candidates will have a keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively during high-volume events. Responsibilities include assembling and delivering food and supplies to function locations, monitoring food temperatures to meet safety standards, arranging tables and buffet lines, and thoroughly cleaning the event area before and after functions. The role also requires returning leftover food and equipment promptly to the catering facility and maintaining the overall tidiness and organization of the workspace. Strong knowledge of the menu and products is essential to providing exceptional customer service and answering any guest inquiries. Candidates must uphold safety and sanitation policies rigorously and contribute to a positive team environment at all times.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid alcohol servers' permit
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Prior food service or hospitality experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to carry moderate weight and perform physical tasks
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions and teamwork

Job Duties

  • Assembles and delivers food and supplies for catered functions to scheduled locations
  • Logs and maintains food temperatures
  • Arranges tables and decorations
  • Arranges buffet tables with food, beverage, and service items according to standards
  • Serves food and beverages to guests
  • Thoroughly cleans location after events
  • Returns food, beverage, and serving equipment to catering facility
  • Distributes and collects customer comment cards for catered functions
  • Stocks, cleans, and maintains catering facility and equipment
  • Ensures guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of menu and products
  • Maintains clean and safe work environment
  • Follows safety and sanitation policies
  • Performs other duties as assigned
