The position available is that of a Part-Time Seasonal Waiter/Waitress at Day Air Ballpark, primarily active from April to September, coinciding with the stadium's event season. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous food service or hospitality experience preferred
  • availability to work seasonally from April to September
  • ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
  • must be able to stand for extended periods

  • ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and advise guests on appropriate food and drink combinations
  • accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences including special diets and allergens
  • communicate directly with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodate special requests
  • exhibit exceptional communication skills and collaborate well with others
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat environment
  • maintain high sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
  • promptly address complaints and relay relevant information to supervisors
  • ensure the dining room is properly set up before and after service periods
  • operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, drink machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
  • work with staff from other departments during special events
  • perform other duties as assigned
