Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling
- follow up with guests to assist with any additional needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on food and drink combinations
- accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences including knowledge of specialized diets and allergens
- communicate directly with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order delivery
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain flexibility and patience with guests and staff
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- promptly address complaints and relay information to supervisors
- set up and clean dining room area before and after service meeting sanitation standards
- operate various equipment including fire extinguishers and beverage machines
