Job Requirements
- Previous restaurant or catering experience required
- availability to work part time primarily on Sundays and Mondays
- ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- must maintain confidentiality regarding personal and medical information
- able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- legally eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or catering experience
- knowledge of menu items and ingredients
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff
- understanding of specialized diets and allergens
- strong customer service skills
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- teamwork and flexibility
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with any additional guest needs or requests
- communicate directly with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodate special requests
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- promptly address complaints or issues and relay them to the supervisor
- ensure the dining room is properly set up prior to and after service periods
- operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, soda machines, and coffee machines
- collaborate with staff from other departments during special events
- perform other assigned duties as needed
