The role of Waiter/Bartender at NYU Langone Health presents an exciting opportunity to be part of its dynamic catering team. This position is vital in ensuring that catering functions are executed flawlessly, providing exceptional service to guests during events. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up service areas and bars, maintaining stock and inventory, and delivering attentive service in line with the style and requirements specified by contracts, including sit-down dinners, buffets, and receptions with various beverage service styles. Responsibilities also include managing bar supplies, assisting with general party service duties, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the setup and cleanup phases, and ensuring that all service elements comply with sanitation and safety standards.
