Legacy Village of Sugar House is currently seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Waiter / Waitress / Server on either a full-time or part-time basis. This entry-level food service position offers a competitive wage of $14 per hour, along with a sign-on bonus after 90 days of employment. The role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and who have a genuine passion for serving senior residents. The hours available range from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., which are favorable for students or those seeking shifts without late nights.

In this role, servers will take orders, deliver food, and check regularly on residents to ensure their needs are met, providing a warm and friendly dining experience. Attention to detail is critical, as servers must ensure orders are accurate and prepared according to instructions, thereby enhancing resident satisfaction. Job Requirements

Solid customer service skills
A heart for serving seniors
Ability to work flexible shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
Must be dependable and punctual
Ability to work full-time or part-time
No prior experience required

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in food service or customer service is a plus but not required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly and patient attitude
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Basic knowledge of food safety practices

Job Duties

Take orders and serve food to residents
Greet each guest with a warm and friendly demeanor
Ensure accuracy by writing down orders correctly and relaying them to the kitchen
Routinely check on residents to meet their needs
Maintain a clean and organized dining environment
Collaborate with kitchen and other staff to provide excellent service
Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas
