Carhops also play a key role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation within the restaurant environment by performing routine cleaning duties such as mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and food preparation tools, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of trash properly. For those assigned to the Skating Carhop duties, additional training and proficiency on roller skates are required to ensure safe and efficient service. This role demands regular attendance and flexibility, as it involves working irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

The role is nonexempt, and the employee reports directly to the Manager on Duty (MOD), who oversees operational standards and addresses any customer or employee concerns.
