Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a food service role, preferably in fine dining or hospitality
Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
Ability to stand and move for extended periods
Strong communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants
Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and cashiering procedures
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest loyalty
Ability to multitask efficiently with superb time management skills in a fast-paced setting
Familiarity with food industry standards for sanitation, food handling, and safety protocols
Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales while enhancing guest satisfaction
Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management
Knowledge of reservation platforms like OpenTable and guest relations best practices

Job Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring proper food handling and sanitation standards
Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive experience from arrival to departure
Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations
Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and optimize guest flow
