Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a food service role, preferably in fine dining or hospitality
  • Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants
  • Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and cashiering procedures
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest loyalty
  • Ability to multitask efficiently with superb time management skills in a fast-paced setting
  • Familiarity with food industry standards for sanitation, food handling, and safety protocols
  • Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales while enhancing guest satisfaction
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management
  • Knowledge of reservation platforms like OpenTable and guest relations best practices

Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring proper food handling and sanitation standards
  • Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
  • Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive experience from arrival to departure
  • Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and optimize guest flow
