Job Requirements

  • Food service certification required
  • Ability to work in physically demanding conditions including lifting, bending, and standing

Job Duties

  • Follow a predetermined menu to prepare food and pastries
  • Put together daily reports ensuring transaction and meal planning accuracy
  • Understand meal components to confirm inclusion
  • Store food correctly to prevent contamination and spoilage
  • Deliver food to patrons as per schedule and regulations
  • Apply and maintain culinary utensils focusing on blades
  • Prepare food and beverages efficiently
  • Enhance visual appeal of meals through garnishing
  • Assist in sanitation of refrigeration units, freezers, and cooking devices
  • Uphold food safety standards including hygiene, handling, and storage
  • Comply with uniform policies
  • Coordinate daily menu with management
  • Monitor food storage and serving temperatures
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work and storage areas
  • Sanitize work areas including tables, countertops, and machinery
  • Perform general cleaning such as sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing
  • Collect garbage and keep kitchen floors clean
  • Fulfill additional duties as required including support in different kitchen departments
