The position of Waiter at Aramark plays a vital role in supporting the manager and ensuring the smooth operation of food preparation and service. This role involves a combination of food preparation, food safety compliance, and customer service duties. The Waiter is responsible for following a predetermined menu to prepare high-quality food and pastries, monitoring cash receipts and maintaining accurate meal records, and assisting with the generation of daily reports. The role also requires adherence to strict hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen, including the correct storage of food to prevent contamination and spoilage and the proper use and upkeep of culinary utensils.

Waiters at Aramark are expected to deliver meals to customers according to scheduled times and to enhance meal presentation through garnishing to enrich the customer experience. The position demands efficiency in food prep and beverage service, regular kitchen cleaning duties, and compliance with established uniform policies and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines. This role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for long periods.
