Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Basic culinary knowledge is a plus
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
  • Proficiency in operating a cash register or POS system
  • Excellent sales and upselling skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds

Job Duties

  • Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
  • Deliver orders to tables in a timely manner
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the dining experience
  • Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales
  • Assist with food preparation and plating when necessary
  • Ensure tables are clean and properly set before seating new customers
  • Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register or POS system
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials
