- physically able to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for long periods
- understanding of food safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties
- Follow a predetermined menu to prepare top-notch food and pastries
- put together a daily report ensuring accuracy of transactions and meal planning
- understand meal components to confirm their inclusion
- store food properly to prevent contamination and spoilage
- serve food to patrons per scheduled meal times and regulations
- maintain and apply culinary utensils with a focus on blades
- prepare food items and beverages promptly
- enhance food aesthetics through garnishing
- assist with sanitation of refrigeration units, freezers, and cooking and serving devices
- uphold food safety standards including hygiene, handling, and storage
- comply with uniform policy
- coordinate daily with manager for menu planning
- monitor food temperatures for storage and serving
- maintain cleanliness and organization of work and storage areas
- carry out general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing
- ensure garbage collection and clean kitchen floors
- perform additional duties as required, including aiding different kitchen departments
