Job Duties
- follow a predetermined menu to prepare top-notch food and pastries
- put together a report for the day ensuring the accuracy of transactions and meal planning
- grasp the elements that make up a meal to confirm their inclusion
- properly store food to prevent contamination and spoilage
- deliver food to patrons as per scheduled meal times and establishment regulations
- apply and upkeep culinary utensils, focusing on blades
- ensure timely preparation of food items and beverages
- enhance the visual appeal of meals through garnishing
- assist with sanitation of refrigeration units, freezers, and kitchen equipment
- uphold all food safety standards including hygiene, handling, and storage
- comply with uniform policy at all times
- coordinate daily menu with the manager
- ensure proper food temperature monitoring and maintenance
- maintain cleanliness and organization of work and storage areas
- carry out general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing
- collect garbage and keep kitchen floors clean
- perform additional duties as required, including aiding different kitchen departments
