The Waiter role at Aramark plays a critical part in supporting the manager and contributing to the smooth operation of the food service environment. Job Duties

  • Follow a predetermined menu to prepare top-notch food and pastries
  • Put together a report for the day ensuring the accuracy of transactions and meal planning
  • Grasp the elements that make up a meal to confirm their inclusion
  • Store food correctly to prevent contamination and spoilage
  • Deliver food to patrons as per scheduled meal times and establishment regulations
  • Apply and maintain culinary utensils, with a focus on blades
  • Ensure food items and beverages are prepared promptly
  • Elevate the visual appeal of meals and enhance guest enjoyment through garnishing
  • Provide help with sanitation of refrigeration units, freezers, and cooking and serving devices
  • Uphold all requirements related to food safety, including hygiene, handling procedures, and storage protocols
  • Comply with the established uniform regulations at all times
  • Daily interaction with the manager to understand and properly plan the day’s menu
  • Ensure foods are stored and served at correct temperatures
  • Uphold cleanliness and organization in work and storage areas
  • Maintain hygiene by keeping work areas clean and disinfected, including steam tables, countertops, and machinery
  • Implement cleanliness procedures such as sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing
  • Ensure garbage is collected and kitchen floors are clean for hygiene
  • Fulfill other duties as required, including aiding different kitchen departments
