Whether you are seeking a new challenge, a collaborative community, or a rewarding career path, Aramark provides numerous opportunities including internships, student programs, and professional development initiatives to nurture employee growth through leadership development, skills training, and career advancement workshops.

The Waiter role at Aramark is pivotal to maintaining the quality and efficiency of the food service experience offered to patrons. This position supports the manager by actively participating in food and meal preparation, monitoring cash receipts, and maintaining accurate meal records. The Waiter is also involved in the critical task of daily report generation, ensuring all transactions and meal planning activities are correctly documented. Beyond administrative duties, the role emphasizes upholding stringent standards for food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety to guarantee customer satisfaction and compliance with health regulations.

The Waiter is responsible for following predetermined menus to prepare high-quality food and pastries, understanding meal composition to ensure completeness, and delivering meals timely according to scheduled service hours and establishment policies. Proper food storage to prevent contamination and spoilage is also a crucial part of the role. The position requires handling culinary utensils with care, focusing on maintaining sharpness and hygiene, and ensuring food items and beverages are prepared efficiently to meet demand. Enhancing the visual appeal of meals through garnishing is encouraged to improve guest dining experiences.

In addition, the Waiter assists with cleaning and sanitation of refrigeration units, freezers, cooking and serving equipment, and maintains work and storage areas to meet cleanliness standards. Responsibilities also include observing food safety protocols, monitoring food temperatures, adhering to uniform policies, managing garbage disposal, and supporting the kitchen team with various other duties when necessary. The job involves physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing, requiring adherence to uniform guidelines and appropriate use of personal protective equipment when necessary.

This position is ideally suited for individuals with food service certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. The role demands strong communication skills to understand and comply with verbal and written guidelines and a focus on maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and customer service.
