Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to lift/carry up to 25 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds
  • ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
  • compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
  • ability to work around food and cleaning products
  • residency within the service area
  • ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively
  • positive attitude and teamwork skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in a dining or food service environment is preferred but not required
  • ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with residents, staff, and management
  • compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
  • must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 25 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
  • must be able to work around food and cleaning products
  • demonstrate a positive attitude with the ability to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily
  • residency within the service area is required

Job Duties

  • Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and preferences
  • set up and break down dining areas before and after meals
  • ensure a clean and safe dining environment by following sanitation and safety guidelines
  • maintain a positive and friendly attitude while interacting with residents, guests, and staff
  • communicate effectively with kitchen and dining staff to ensure smooth meal service
  • assist with food preparation such as plating and assembling meals
  • follow all safety and food handling regulations
  • perform other duties as assigned
