Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to lift/carry up to 25 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
- compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
- ability to work around food and cleaning products
- residency within the service area
- ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively
- positive attitude and teamwork skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a dining or food service environment is preferred but not required
- ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with residents, staff, and management
- compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
- must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 25 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
- must be able to work around food and cleaning products
- demonstrate a positive attitude with the ability to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily
- residency within the service area is required
Job Duties
- Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and preferences
- set up and break down dining areas before and after meals
- ensure a clean and safe dining environment by following sanitation and safety guidelines
- maintain a positive and friendly attitude while interacting with residents, guests, and staff
- communicate effectively with kitchen and dining staff to ensure smooth meal service
- assist with food preparation such as plating and assembling meals
- follow all safety and food handling regulations
- perform other duties as assigned
