Job Description

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is a leading provider of dining and facility services to healthcare organizations across the United States. With a strong commitment to quality and care, HCSG focuses on enhancing the patient, resident, and guest experience through exceptional food service, hospitality, and customer care. Serving a wide range of long-term care facilities, hospitals, and senior living communities, the company prides itself on creating environments where both residents and staff feel valued and supported. HCSG is dedicated to positively impacting the communities it serves by delivering innovative and compassionate service that meets the unique needs of each client and their residents.

The role of Wait Staff/Server at HCSG is pivotal in ensuring that residents in long-term care facilities receive not only nutritious meals tailored to their dietary requirements but also a courteous and friendly dining experience. As a Wait Staff/Server, you will be the face of the dining experience, interacting closely with residents, guests, and team members to provide attentive and respectful service. This position requires a strong commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering strictly to sanitation and safety protocols. You will be responsible for setting up and breaking down dining areas, serving meals with care according to individual preferences and dietary restrictions, and communicating effectively with kitchen and dining staff to ensure smooth and timely meal service.

In addition to meal service, the role involves assisting with food preparation such as plating and assembling meals, always following food handling regulations to guarantee safety and quality. Working in a team-oriented atmosphere, the Wait Staff/Server position demands excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a positive attitude. Employees benefit from comprehensive training and career development opportunities provided by HCSG, reinforcing their role in delivering superior service. This role is full-time and offers a supportive environment with multiple employee benefits like free telemedicine, prescription discount programs, employee assistance programs, and financial wellness support through PNC Workplace Banking. HCSG further offers health, dental, vision insurance, paid time off options, and additional voluntary insurance products depending on location and eligibility. If you possess a passion for quality service and a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents in healthcare settings, this opportunity at HCSG could be the perfect fit for your career aspirations.
