The role of Wait Staff Tipped at Sodexo Live located at the Carl Fisher Clubhouse is a part-time position that offers varying shifts and requires open availability to best meet the needs of the clientele. The pay range for this role starts at $2.13 per hour plus tips and can go up to $20 per hour depending on experience and shift. Working as a wait staff member within Sodexo Live involves being the frontline representative in providing guests with attentive, efficient, and friendly service. This includes greeting guests, presenting menus, making recommendations, and ensuring orders are correctly taken and delivered. The role also demands continual attention to customer satisfaction, handling any concerns professionally, and maintaining a clean and inviting dining environment.
Wait Staff Tipped are responsible for serving a diverse menu of freshly prepared entrées, appetizers, desserts, and beverages with a professional demeanor that enhances the dining experience. Physical stamina is essential as the position requires standing and walking for extended periods, sometimes exceeding eight hours. The ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally, reach, bend, and perform repetitive motions is also critical. Additionally, employees must be knowledgeable about menu items, including ingredients and allergens, and in some locations, holding a valid alcohol service certification such as TIPS or TEAM is necessary to comply with local regulations.

- Must be at or over the minimum age to serve alcohol based on local city and state regulations
- May require a valid TIPS, TEAM, or equivalent alcohol-service certification

Job Duties
- Greet and seat guests, present menus, and introduce specials or menu changes
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on meals, beverages, and wine, and answer questions about menu items, allergens, and preparation
- Accurately take and relay orders to the kitchen, confirm orders with guests, and process them in the correct sequence
- Check all items for quality and completeness, ensuring that presentations are attractive, appetizing, and consistent
- Monitor guest needs, respond to requests, and address concerns or complaints with professionalism
- Walk or stand for extended periods of time during shifts that may exceed 8 hours
- Reach, bend, stoop, push or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift or move 50 pounds
