Job Requirements

  • high School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • 0 to 1 year related experience
  • must be at or over the minimum age to serve alcohol based on local regulations
  • may require valid TIPS, TEAM, or equivalent alcohol-service certification
  • ability to walk or stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
  • ability to perform repetitive motions
  • ability to use hands and arms for handling and reaching
  • ability to taste and smell
  • attends work and shows for scheduled shifts on time
  • flexible availability preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • 0 to 1 year related experience
  • knowledge of food and beverage service practices
  • ability to provide attentive customer service
  • ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
  • effective communication skills
  • familiarity with alcohol service certification requirements such as TIPS or TEAM
  • ability to work flexible shifts
  • understanding of health and safety standards in food service

Job Duties

  • Greet and seat guests
  • present menus and introduce specials or menu changes
  • provide knowledgeable recommendations on meals, beverages, and wine
  • answer questions about menu items, allergens, and preparation
  • accurately take and relay orders to the kitchen
  • confirm orders with guests
  • check items for quality and completeness
  • monitor guest needs
  • respond to requests and address concerns professionally
  • attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time
  • perform other duties as assigned based on client requirements
