The role of Wait Staff Tipped at Sodexo Live, specifically at the Carl Fisher Clubhouse, is a part-time position that involves providing excellent, attentive service to customers by efficiently serving a variety of freshly prepared entrées, appetizers, desserts, and beverages from the restaurant menu. This position involves direct interaction with guests, including greeting and seating, presenting menus, making knowledgeable recommendations, accurately taking and confirming orders, and ensuring all items meet quality and presentation standards. Wait Staff are expected to deliver friendly, professional service that exceeds customer expectations, contributing to an enjoyable dining experience.
The position demands physical stamina as it requires substantial walking or mobility, standing for extended periods that may exceed eight hours during shifts, bending, reaching, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Additional sensory abilities such as tasting and smelling are important for ensuring product quality. The role also entails handling repetitive motions and consistently adhering to punctuality and attendance standards. Employees might be required to obtain and maintain alcohol service certifications where applicable, such as TIPS or TEAM, depending on local regulations.

Job Requirements
- high School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- 0 to 1 year related experience
- must be at or over the minimum age to serve alcohol based on local regulations
- may require valid TIPS, TEAM, or equivalent alcohol-service certification
- ability to walk or stand for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
- ability to perform repetitive motions
- ability to use hands and arms for handling and reaching
- ability to taste and smell
- attends work and shows for scheduled shifts on time
- flexible availability preferred
