This role is for a Server position at the National Bowling Stadium, a vibrant venue where guests come to enjoy memorable social and sporting events. As a Server with Aramark at this unique location, you will play a critical role in delivering outstanding customer service by creating an inviting atmosphere and ensuring guests have a seamless dining experience. The position is event-driven, with schedules based on business needs, including evenings and weekends, reflecting the dynamic and fast-paced nature of the venue. Servers at Aramark are expected to be enthusiastic, attentive, and skilled problem-solvers who can handle multiple guests efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.

Your responsibilities will include taking food and beverage orders, serving drinks and meals timely and accurately, and adhering to all company safety and sanitation policies—including alcohol service regulations. Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, and maintaining the appearance of food service areas during events is essential. Additionally, you will be responsible for checking guest identification to ensure compliance with alcohol policies. The role may involve physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing, along with wearing uniforms and personal protective equipment as required.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous food service experience preferred
  • ability to obtain food safety certification
  • availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to lift, bend, push, or pull as required
  • must possess Nevada Alcohol Awareness card

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a server or in food service role preferred
  • demonstrates excellent customer service skills
  • demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • working knowledge of food safety principles and procedures
  • must be able to obtain a food safety certification
  • must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Nevada Alcohol Awareness card

Job Duties

  • Serves beverage to guests according to guests orders
  • maintains knowledge of menu items and all other offerings
  • maintains appearance and cleanliness of food service areas during event
  • adheres to all alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines including checking guests' identification
  • provides excellent customer service, anticipating guests' needs
  • breaks down and cleans/sanitizes food service areas, workstations, and equipment
  • maintains a positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
