Job Description
Heathwood Assisted Living is a family-owned assisted living facility dedicated to providing a safe, secure, and loving environment for elderly individuals in need of compassionate care. Located within a welcoming community, Heathwood is committed to maintaining high standards of care through its multiple levels of service, including adult home care, enhanced care, and special needs care. This facility prides itself on its core values of integrity, reverence for the individual, teamwork, and passion for excellence, ensuring every resident is treated with dignity and respect. As a family-owned business, Heathwood fosters a close-knit atmosphere where staff and residents form meaningful connections, and every team member's contribution is valued and appreciated.
We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate wait staff/dishwasher team members to join our mission-focused team. This role is essential in enhancing the daily experience for our residents by supporting meal services, which are often a highlight of their day. As a member of the wait staff/dishwasher team, you will be responsible for setting tables, providing attentive and personal table service in the Main Dining Room, and ensuring cleanliness by washing dishes and tidying food preparation areas after meals. This position plays a pivotal role in not only maintaining a clean and orderly dining environment but also in fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere that positively impacts the quality of life for those we serve.
We offer highly competitive wages recently increased to a range of $18.30 to $18.70 per hour, reflecting our commitment to valuing our employees' dedication and hard work. Employees benefit from free on-site parking and uniforms, along with health, dental, and vision insurance options that are prorated to meet individual needs. Additionally, we provide no-cost life insurance to support our team members' peace of mind. Generous paid time off (PTO) and sick time, also prorated, are part of the comprehensive benefits package, alongside direct deposit for convenient and timely payment processing.
Heathwood values an inclusive and supportive workplace culture where responsibility, teamwork, and a genuine desire to improve the lives of others are paramount. If you are at least sixteen years of age, possess a sense of responsibility, and desire to work harmoniously with residents and fellow staff members, Heathwood Assisted Living may be the perfect place for you to make a meaningful difference. Previous experience in dietary work is preferred but not mandatory, and a high school diploma or equivalent is favored though not required. Employment certification or permits will be necessary for applicable individuals as part of the hiring process.
Joining Heathwood means becoming part of a community where your efforts directly contribute to the happiness and well-being of elderly residents. Every shift offers the opportunity to make someone's day brighter and to leave feeling fulfilled by delivering care and service that truly matter. If you share our commitment to excellence and compassion, we invite you to apply and become a vital member of the Heathwood family.
