The position of Wait Staff at Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center plays a crucial role in enhancing the dining experience of the residents. Responsible for assisting with meal services, this role requires an individual who loves working with senior citizens and is capable of working both independently and cooperatively as part of a team. The job is part time, offering 15 to 20 hours per week during evening shifts from 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm on weekdays and weekends. Flexibility to work weekends is essential. With a starting wage of $15.00 per hour, the position offers opportunities to participate in Fairhaven's benefits for part-time employees, including a 403(b) Retirement Plan available to those working 20 hours or more weekly and meeting age requirements, as well as paid time off.

The Wait Staff is tasked with various duties that contribute to the smooth operation of the dining service within the retirement center. These include serving meals in accordance with residents’ dietary needs and preferences, setting up and clearing dining tables, preparing employee and room trays, washing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas.
