The position available is for a full-time Wait Staff Non-Tipped role at the Delta Sky Club in Boston (BOS), under Sodexo's employment. This role offers a competitive pay rate of $19.75 per hour. Serving as the frontline service provider, the Wait Staff will be responsible for delivering attentive and efficient customer service, exceeding guest expectations at a premium airport lounge setting. The role demands physical stamina for extended periods of standing or walking, as well as the ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • 0 to 1 year related experience
  • Must be at or over the minimum age to serve alcohol based on local city and state regulations if applicable
  • Must comply with all state-specific alcohol training requirements if applicable
  • Ability to walk or stand for extended periods, which may exceed 8 hours
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions
  • Availability to work any shift with open availability
  • Attend work and show up on time consistently

Job Duties

  • Greet and seat guests, present menus, and introduce specials or menu changes
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations on meals, beverages, and wine, and answer questions about menu items, allergens, and preparation
  • Accurately take and relay orders to the kitchen, confirm orders with guests, and process them in the correct sequence
  • Check all items for quality and completeness, ensuring that presentations are attractive, appetizing, and consistent
  • Monitor guest needs, respond to requests, and address concerns or complaints with professionalism
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business necessities and client requirements
