Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • 0 to 1 year related experience
  • Must be at or over the minimum age to serve alcohol based on local city and state regulations if applicable
  • May require valid alcohol-service certification such as TIPS or TEAM
  • Must comply with state-specific alcohol service training requirements

Job Qualifications

  • 0 to 1 year related experience
  • Must be at or over the minimum age to serve alcohol based on local city and state regulations if applicable
  • May require a valid TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures), TEAM (Techniques for Effective Alcohol Management), or equivalent alcohol-service certification
  • Must comply with all state-specific alcohol training requirements

Job Duties

  • Greet and seat guests, present menus, and introduce specials or menu changes
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations on meals, beverages, and wine, and answer questions about menu items, allergens, and preparation
  • Accurately take and relay orders to the kitchen, confirm orders with guests, and process them in the correct sequence
  • Check all items for quality and completeness, ensuring that presentations are attractive, appetizing, and consistent
  • Monitor guest needs, respond to requests, and address concerns or complaints with professionalism
  • Attend work and show up for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet business necessities and client requirements
