The organization is dedicated to a mission-driven approach that emphasizes compassion, respect, and personalized care for residents, families, and employees alike. Known for its warm, welcoming environment, Presbyterian Living fosters a culture of collaboration, compassion, and shared expertise, making it a unique place to build a meaningful career.
Westminster Place, part of the Presbyterian Living family, is currently seeking a part-time Wait Staff member to join its dining department. Scheduled from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm, this position offers an hourly wage ranging from $17.82 to $24.89, dependent on experience. Ideal candidates will bring passion, strengths, and a dedication to teamwork, all contributing to a supportive and uplifting atmosphere for residents. The mission at Westminster Place is to deliver a truly personalized experience that prioritizes wellness, independence, joy, and security among its residents.
This role goes beyond typical food service duties. It asks for team members who find fulfillment in making a difference, building meaningful connections, and contributing to a community-centric environment. The workplace culture is highly regarded, having received certification as a Great Place to Work, which underlines the organization’s commitment to inclusivity, support, and engagement. Employees at Westminster Place enjoy a variety of comprehensive benefits, including health and wellness programs like Wellhub and onsite fitness facilities, financial security offerings such as paid time off rollover, a 403(b) retirement plan with matching contributions, commuter benefits, and financial counseling. There is also access to employee assistance programs for emotional support, tuition reimbursement, scholarships, mentorship, and numerous community engagement events.
As a Wait Staff member, you will play a critical role in the dining experience by ensuring that food and beverages are served in the correct sequence, maintaining cleanliness and presentation of dining areas, and using technology effectively to take orders accurately. You will work closely with co-workers and supervisors to address any concerns, contributing to a safe and cooperative workplace environment. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of service expected at Westminster Place, helping to foster an atmosphere where residents feel valued and cared for.
