Prior experience in food service or hospitality preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members

Job Duties

Supports the development of a positive customer service culture in the dining room under the direction of the Dining Room Manager or Director of Culinary Services
Offers evaluation on the quality of service and develops systems to maximize the efficiency of meal delivery while maintaining a pleasant dining experience
Takes beverage and food orders, delivers food, clears, cleans, sanitizes, and resets tables
Makes every expected effort to maintain customer satisfaction
Resolves dining challenges with a customer before the conclusion of the meal service
Maintains a clean dining room including all equipment, walls, table tops and bases, chairs, and linens
Washes and sanitizes dishware as required
Ensures safe work practices compliant with Safety Committee Standards
Fosters teamwork, shows initiative, takes actions to assist others beyond job responsibilities, and impacts co-workers, residents, and visitors positively
Performs other duties as assigned or needed
