We are currently seeking a diligent and customer-focused Dining Room Associate to support the development of a positive customer service culture within the dining room under the guidance of the Dining Room Manager or Director of Culinary Services. This role plays a crucial part in delivering efficient meal service and maintaining cleanliness, all while ensuring customer satisfaction. The Dining Room Associate will be involved in taking orders, delivering food and beverages, clearing and resetting tables, and resolving any dining challenges. They will contribute to maintaining a clean and safe dining area and collaborate with team members to provide a productive and positive environment. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Supports the development of a positive customer service culture in the dining room under the direction of the Dining Room Manager or Director of Culinary Services
  • Offers evaluation on the quality of service and develops systems to maximize the efficiency of meal delivery while maintaining a pleasant dining experience
  • Takes beverage and food orders, delivers food, clears, cleans, sanitizes, and resets tables
  • Makes every expected effort to maintain customer satisfaction
  • Resolves dining challenges with a customer before the conclusion of the meal service
  • Maintains a clean dining room including all equipment, walls, table tops and bases, chairs, and linens
  • Washes and sanitizes dishware as required
  • Ensures safe work practices compliant with Safety Committee Standards
  • Fosters teamwork, shows initiative, takes actions to assist others beyond job responsibilities, and impacts co-workers, residents, and visitors positively
  • Performs other duties as assigned or needed
