Job Description

Pegasus Senior Living (PSL) is a leading provider in the senior living industry, committed to delivering exceptional care and services to older adults in a compassionate and respectful environment. As a Great Place to Work Certified organization, PSL is dedicated to creating a supportive workplace culture where employees feel valued and empowered. The company operates senior living communities with a focus on enhancing the lives of residents through kindness, integrity, and personalized service. PSL offers flexible scheduling options, competitive pay, and a robust benefits package to support the wellbeing and growth of its team members.

The Server role at Pegasus Senior Living is an integral position that contributes directly to creating a warm and welcoming dining experience for our senior residents. This position offers flexible full-time and part-time shift options, including an AM shift, designed to fit the varying needs of our workforce while maintaining high service standards. Servers at PSL are entrusted with preparing and serving food to residents within scheduled time frames, ensuring meals are delivered with care and attention to resident preferences and nutritional requirements.

In this role, the Server serves as a frontline ambassador by fostering positive interactions with residents, enhancing their daily dining experience, and supporting the mission of celebrating and enhancing all lives with kindness and integrity. Candidates with at least one year of relevant hospitality experience—preferably in senior living or full-service environments—are encouraged to apply. Effective communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing, are essential for successfully engaging with residents and fellow staff members.

Beyond the rewarding nature of caregiving and service to seniors, servers at PSL benefit from competitive wages ranging from $17.50 to $19.50 per hour, which vary based on education, experience, and certifications. Employees also enjoy access to a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance (for full-time employees), a 401(k) plan with matching contributions, paid time off of up to 20 days per year, and participation in employee assistance programs. Additionally, same-day pay options, unlimited referral bonuses up to $2,000, and various travel, restaurant, and retail discounts enhance the overall employee experience.

Pegasus Senior Living is committed to employee development through career advancement opportunities, mentorship programs, and continuing education reimbursement, supporting both personal and professional growth. The company culture thrives on mutual respect, kindness, and integrity, fostering a workplace environment that values each individual’s contributions and promotes well-being.

Server team members are responsible for cleaning and maintaining the food service areas, including kitchens and dining rooms, to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for residents and staff alike. The role requires sound judgment, problem-solving ability, and decision-making skills to adapt to the dynamic needs of the community. PSL is proud to uphold equal employment opportunities and actively supports reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities, further endorsing an inclusive work environment.

If you have a passion for serving seniors and want to make a meaningful impact every day, a career as a Server at Pegasus Senior Living offers not only a job but a chance to be part of a community that truly cares. Join our team to enjoy flexible scheduling, competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and the satisfaction that comes from enriching lives through dedicated service and compassionate care.
