We are currently seeking a Vice President of Culinary Operations who embodies the spirit of a chef and possesses extensive experience as a kitchen leader. This pivotal role reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Culinary and collaborates closely to support and enhance culinary operations company-wide. The VP of Culinary Operations will take a hands-on leadership approach to ensure our kitchens are expertly led, well staffed, financially stable, and consistently produce outstanding food that meets the high standards synonymous with MML Hospitality. This role goes beyond traditional corporate duties, requiring someone with genuine kitchen experience who understands the rhythm of service and can work side-by-side with chefs to develop robust systems supporting a growing organization. The ideal candidate will be adept at supporting chefs, cultivating emerging leaders, and maintaining high culinary standards while preserving the unique creativity and personality that define each restaurant and hotel concept. Job Requirements
- Ability to work in kitchen environments
- Willingness to travel between properties

- Completion of background check including employment, education, and criminal records

Job Qualifications
- 10+ years of culinary leadership experience
- Experience as an Executive Chef or senior kitchen leader
- Multi-unit or multi-concept experience preferred
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food costing, and purchasing
- Proven ability to mentor and develop culinary teams
- Experience with new restaurant openings and concept development
- Spanish language skills a plus
Job Duties
- Support chefs and culinary teams across the portfolio
- Maintain high food quality, execution, and consistency
- Serve as a trusted resource to kitchen leaders
- Mentor and develop kitchen leadership teams
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and leadership growth
- Ensure operational efficiency in kitchens
- Collaborate with operations teams to align BOH and FOH
- Manage food cost, labor, and kitchen performance
- Review budgets and purchasing practices
- Support new restaurant openings and culinary development
- Assist with menu development and kitchen design
- Train new teams for smooth kitchen launches
