The Dishwasher Steward role at voco Sandpiper All-Inclusive Resort is a vital position that ensures the kitchen and dining areas maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and readiness. This role requires dedication to maintaining hygiene by efficiently washing dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and silverware, essentially being the backbone of the kitchen's operational flow. The Dishwasher Steward also supports the whole team by keeping the kitchen spotless, preparing dining rooms for upcoming shifts by cleaning and restocking stations, and handling deliveries and trash duties with care and attention. Job Duties

  • Keep the sparkle alive by bussing tables, washing dishes, pots, pans, and silverware, resetting dining areas so every guest experience starts fresh
  • Prep dining rooms and kitchens for the next shift by thoroughly cleaning and restocking all stations
  • Scrub appliances big and small—from coffee makers to mixers and everything in between
  • Unload and organize deliveries, sweep and mop up any spills or accidents, and ensure every corner gleams
  • Take out the trash, rinse out cans, and jump in wherever extra hands are needed
  • Help teammates with other tasks and always report kitchen accidents or food safety concerns quickly
