Job Description

American Career College (ACC) is a well-established educational institution specializing in healthcare education. With over 40 years of experience, ACC is committed to transforming lives by educating students seeking careers in the healthcare industry. Known as a certified Great Place to Work, ACC fosters a collaborative and student-centric culture that values academic integrity, mutual respect, innovation, diversity, and stewardship. This supportive environment encourages both faculty and students to grow personally and professionally while making meaningful impacts on patient care and the community.

American Career College is currently seeking a part-time adjunct Vocational Nurse (VN) Clinical Instructor to join their dedicated team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the development of future nurses by delivering quality clinical instruction based on an approved curriculum. The position requires supervising and mentoring nursing students in clinical settings, assessing their practical skills and knowledge application, and ensuring they are well-prepared for entry-level nursing roles. As an instructor at ACC, you will be actively involved in advancing healthcare education through innovative teaching methods, personalized student support, and participation in faculty and college activities.

The Clinical Instructor position is designed for experienced Registered Nurses (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) who are passionate about sharing their expertise and nurturing the next generation of healthcare professionals. Faculty members play a crucial role in fostering student success by providing high-quality instruction that promotes academic achievement, retention, and readiness for professional practice. This role also requires maintaining current knowledge in nursing practices and education techniques, participating in regular faculty meetings and professional development, and supporting college-wide initiatives such as student orientations and graduation ceremonies.

The position offers competitive hourly compensation ranging from USD $37.72 to USD $54.69, reflecting the candidate's experience and qualifications. While this adjunct role is not eligible for bonuses, it provides substantial personal and professional rewards through its impact on students and the healthcare field. This role is ideal for nursing professionals seeking flexible employment while maintaining a meaningful connection to nursing education.

By joining American Career College as a VN Clinical Instructor, you become part of a mission-driven organization dedicated to academic excellence and the success of healthcare students. ACC values diversity and inclusivity, firmly supporting equal employment opportunities for all associates. This allows faculty members to thrive within a vibrant community dedicated to making a positive difference in healthcare education and patient outcomes. If you have a commitment to teaching, clinical expertise, and a desire to influence the future of nursing, this opportunity at ACC is the perfect platform.
