Job Description

The Viva la Visif3n event series is a premier annual fundraising initiative designed to celebrate community, culture, and philanthropy. Originating from the Philadelphia area, Viva la Visif3n has grown in prominence and impact, attracting passionate volunteers, sponsors, and attendees committed to making a meaningful difference through vibrant events that combine art, cuisine, and social engagement. Each year, the event features a dynamic mix of entertainment, auctions, and community involvement, drawing support to a range of charitable causes. As part of its ongoing mission, the organization is dedicated to fostering local partnerships and nurturing volunteer engagement to sustain the event's success and expand its reach.

We are seeking dedicated volunteers for the Viva la Visif3n 2019 team to help plan and execute the annual fundraising event. This role is perfect for individuals with experience in event planning, organizing social gatherings, or those who have a knack for outreach and communication. Volunteers will engage with restaurants, venues, potential sponsors, and auction donors to secure vital contributions that underpin the event's offerings. Although preference is given to candidates located in the Philadelphia area to aid onsite coordination and collaboration, remote volunteers who demonstrate commitment and initiative are also welcome. This volunteer opportunity provides a unique platform to gain hands-on experience in event management, develop professional networks within the community, and contribute to a meaningful cause. The role requires creativity, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, all while supporting an event that brings people together to celebrate community and generosity.
