Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday standard shifts
  • Remote work capability with availability for quarterly in-office meetings in Pittsburgh
  • Completion of in-person training during the first three weeks
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and multitask effectively

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office and database entry software
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate confidently and professionally
  • Empathic and compassionate listener
  • Experience in medical or personal injury fields preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Act as the primary operator of the switchboard
  • Efficiently screen incoming calls, obtain accurate information, and route calls or messages to appropriate personnel
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of calls including notes and outcomes
  • Create and issue meticulous letters for clients, case files, insurance, employers, and document requests
  • Complete assigned work in a timely manner to foster positive relationships
  • Attend periodic in-office meetings as required
  • Adhere to ESA’s core values in all communications and tasks
