The VIP Lounge Manager position is a fixed-term, match day-only role based in Los Angeles. It involves direct responsibility for delivering exceptional hospitality and operational management within the VIP lounge environment on match days. Reporting to the Guest Operations Stadium Manager, the VIP Lounge Manager will collaborate closely with teams spanning Hospitality, Guest Relations, Venue Management, and many others to ensure flawless execution of VIP and VVIP guest services. This role includes leading and executing the on-site VIP lounge experience—overseeing branding, entertainment, staffing, and decor—and guaranteeing that every guest receives unparalleled world-class service.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in supervising hospitality suppliers to maintain the highest standards of quality, budget adherence, and risk management. Additionally, the VIP Lounge Manager will manage VIK sponsor requirements, ensuring all plans are implemented according to agreements. Active participation in planning meetings and training programs aimed at enhancing customer service standards will be expected, as well as preparing documentation and reports for continuous improvement initiatives. Knowledge sharing and post-event debriefings are vital components to ensure evolving excellence in guest operations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in sport management, business, hospitality or event management
  • 5+ years guest operations and event services experience
  • extensive knowledge of stadium operations and guest hospitality
  • experience managing VIP hospitality programs at major sporting events
  • fluent in English
  • proficiency in MS Office and planning software
  • ability to work onsite in Los Angeles
  • availability on match days and selected training sessions
  • strong leadership and decision-making skills
  • excellent communication and organizational abilities

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in sport management, business, hospitality or event management
  • postgraduate education focusing on international organizations or sport management preferred but not required
  • guest experience and hospitality management
  • 5+ years guest operations and event services with project management experience
  • extensive knowledge and experience in general stadium operations and specifically with guest operations and hospitality as well as related event services
  • extensive experience of managing end-to-end VIP hospitality programs at major sporting events
  • fluent in English
  • Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus
  • proficient in MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Visio and Project and planning software and online collaboration tools

Job Duties

  • Lead the on-site execution of the VIP lounge guest experience including branding, entertainment, staffing, and decor
  • ensure the delivery of exceptional, world-class hospitality service to all guests
  • monitor hospitality suppliers to ensure quality, budget compliance, and risk management
  • address and escalate queries related to stadium infrastructure and technical aspects of guest areas
  • manage VIK sponsor needs and ensure implementation aligns with agreed plans
  • support world-class training programs focused on delivering exceptional customer service
  • participate in planning meetings, provide updates, and prepare documents to support guest experience initiatives
  • fill in the required reports and escalate necessary issues to the central team
  • ensure successful knowledge sharing and post-event debriefing for Guest Operations
