This hotel is inspired by the trailblazing spirit and epic career of Dolly Parton, one of the world’s most iconic entertainers. Dolly Parton’s SongTeller Hotel offers guests a memorable experience filled with music, style, southern charm, and playful surprises. The property boasts 245 thoughtfully designed rooms, two food and beverage entertainment venues, a market, and Dolly Parton’s Museum. It is a landmark destination that celebrates the local culture, music scene, and culinary heritage of Nashville, all created with the heart and personality Dolly is famous for.
The VIP Concierge role at Dolly Parton’s SongTeller Hotel presents a unique opportunity for hospitality professionals passionate about delivering elevated and personalized guest experiences. This full-time position is focused on creating seamless and memorable arrival and departure experiences for the hotel’s most valued guests, including VIPs and suite occupants. The ideal candidate acts as both a gracious host and a local expert, providing personalized recommendations and curating exclusive experiences that exceed guest expectations. VIP Concierges at SongTeller Hotel are responsible for understanding guest preferences, managing complex requests with discretion and efficiency, coordinating transportation and reservations, and collaborating with internal departments and local vendors to curate unforgettable experiences. - High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous concierge or luxury guest services experience required
- Ability to manage multiple requests with efficiency and discretion
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Professional appearance and demeanor aligned with luxury boutique standards
- Ability to lift, push, or pull 25-50 lbs

Job Qualifications
- Previous hotel experience preferred in upscale, lifestyle or luxury hotel setting
- Ability to manage multiple requests with efficiency and discretion

- Work background reflects a successful track record of accomplishment and growth in hospitality operations with proven experience leading multi-departmental hotel operations
- Passion for delivering elevated guest experiences and attention to detail
- Expert knowledge of Nashville’s culture, dining, and entertainment scene is a plus

- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support colleagues across departments

Job Duties

- Serve as a local expert and storyteller, sharing recommendations on Nashville, music, culture, and unique hotel experiences
- Review daily arrival, departure, and VIP reports to ensure proper planning and execution of personalized service for specific stand out guest and suite occupants
- Uphold luxury service standards and brand voice, ensuring every interaction feels personal, not transactional
