The role in question is a 2-day assignment for Event Server Crew Members supporting a VIP-level, high-profile event hosted by Microsoft. This assignment requires attendance at both scheduled dates: a mandatory 4-hour paid training session on Monday, May 11, and the event shift on Wednesday, May 13. The job emphasizes professionalism, hospitality, and composure throughout the event. It is critical that team members present a polished appearance, maintain a positive attitude, and communicate professionally with guests and supervisors.
As an Event Server Crew Member, you will play a vital role in supporting guest services within assigned engagement rooms. This includes assisting guests by providing friendly customer service, replenishing buffet items, and maintaining food presentation standards. The role requires bus tables, clearing used plates, silverware, napkins, and glassware regularly to ensure the area is clean and inviting. Event setup and breakdown responsibilities will also be part of your duties, along with disposing of trash and supporting general event operations.
