The Barista role at Vinarosa Resort & Spa is an essential position within the food and beverage team, primarily responsible for delivering superior coffee and beverage services that elevate the overall guest experience. This position involves the precise preparation and stylish presentation of a wide variety of espresso-based beverages, brewed coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring that every cup served meets the resort's exacting quality standards. Baristas work diligently to maintain proper calibration and cleanliness of espresso machines and related equipment, demonstrating strong knowledge of coffee origins, roasts, flavor profiles, and diverse preparation methods. In addition to beverage preparation, Baristas provide warm and engaging guest service, managing multiple orders efficiently while fostering a welcoming atmosphere.

This fast-paced role requires excellent multitasking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform well during peak service hours, all while maintaining composure and professionalism. Collaboration with culinary, service, and leadership teams is critical to ensuring smooth service flows, timely order delivery, and upholding cleanliness standards throughout the coffee bars and guest areas. Baristas also contribute by executing opening, closing, and side work duties, including stock rotation, mise en place, and inventory management. Food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards are strictly observed at all times. Job Qualifications

  • Previous hotel, resort, cafe, or specialty coffee experience preferred
  • knowledge of espresso preparation and coffee service techniques

  • ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve espresso-based beverages, brewed coffee, tea, and specialty drinks according to standards
  • demonstrate knowledge of coffee origins, roasts, flavor profiles, and preparation methods
  • maintain proper calibration, cleanliness, and daily care of espresso machines and equipment
  • provide warm, engaging guest service while managing multiple orders efficiently
  • accurately enter orders into the POS system and handle transactions with accuracy and integrity
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, service counters, and guest areas
  • execute opening, closing, and side work duties including stocking, rotation, and mise en place
  • monitor inventory levels and communicate product needs or shortages to leadership
  • follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards at all times
  • support service recovery by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • collaborate with culinary and service teams to ensure timely order delivery and quality standards
  • maintain professional appearance and grooming standards consistent with luxury hotel expectations
