Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in real estate, hotel administration or business
- Fifteen or more years of real estate development, hotel and/or residential industry experience
- At least seven years of hotel development or related experience
- Ability to travel frequently to site visits and meetings
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency in underwriting and financial analysis
- Capacity to work collaboratively with legal, finance, and operational teams
- Willingness to participate in public hearings and regulatory processes
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in real estate, hotel administration, or business
- Fifteen or more years of real estate, hotel, and residential industry experience
- At least seven years of hotel development or related experience
- Preferred MBA or advanced degree
- Strong negotiation and deal structuring skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain strategic relationships
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and market analysis
Job Duties
- Review and analyze potential luxury hotel and residential development opportunities
- Travel to site visits, owner meetings, and lodging conferences
- Oversee internal development processes including site inspections and feasibility studies
- Manage underwriting process for residential projects and present for approval
- Negotiate agreements including management, licensing, and development contracts with owners and legal department
- Provide risk management guidance and review shared services and rental agreements
- Collaborate with treasury and project finance to maximize investment returns
- Assist owners in identifying and securing financing
- Attend public hearings and regulatory meetings for project approvals
- Share leads for other Marriott brand opportunities
- Participate in resolution of workout situations
- Track competitive market landscape and brand positioning
